Turntable with materials
The goal is to conceptualize a half-mech, half-organic creature like the biomechs from Serious Sam or Krang from Ninja Turtles, but with mechanical parts more earthly and equal to the current level of tech, combined in unusual ways. It must be quite versatile in terms of range of motion and look complex but realistic in the same way. It must be controlled via direct brain connection and have unusual weapons made from well-known things—like pistons but with non-common usage.
Beyond its visual concept, this piece explores a fully procedural texturing workflow, created entirely without UV mapping. The goal was to develop a non-destructive, resolution-independent, and efficient pipeline that removes tedious stages such as manual UV unwrapping and retopology.
